We run a 5K at North Park, an established race venue in Allegheny County, PA. The day-of logistics are being finalized now, and the specifics will be posted here as race week nears.

The course
A 5K through North Park.
A 5K covers 3.1 miles. The course is an out-and-back along the North Park Lake shoreline — out to the turnaround and back to the start. The map below shows the route; exact start and turnaround points will be confirmed before race week.

- North Park has lot parking for events of this size. The designated lots and an overflow plan will be posted here closer to the event.
- Packet pickup
- Pick up your bib and shirt before race morning. The pickup window and location will be announced as race week approaches.
- Day-of schedule
- The race starts at 9:00 AM. The full morning timeline, from check-in to the final finisher, will be posted before race week.
- Weather
- The race is held outdoors at North Park. Any weather updates will be posted here and shared with registrants.

This is a community memorial, not a race only for the fast. Push a stroller, roll a wheelchair, walk beside a friend, or carry a ruck in someone’s memory. The finish line is the same for everyone.
