Plain and simple
Privacy
We keep this simple. We count visits so we know what’s working, we never sell anything about you, and the only personal information we ever handle is what you choose to send us — through registration, a donation, or a form on this site. Here is the detail, if you want it.
How we measure traffic
Analytics
We use PostHog, a website analytics tool, to count visits and see which pages and links help people find the race. It sets one first-party cookie in your browser so we can tell returning visitors from new ones.
What we collect is anonymous usage — pages viewed, rough region, device type. We don’t build personal profiles, we don’t collect names or emails through analytics, and we never sell or share this data or use it for advertising.
Forms & registration
What you submit
Registration and donations happen on RunSignup, a separate service that handles them securely and has its own privacy policy.
Volunteer and contact forms on this site go straight to the race organizers and are used only to run the event — nothing more.
The technical bit
Cookies we set
- ph_*
- The PostHog analytics cookie described above. Anonymous usage only — it's never tied to your name or a personal profile.
- p5k_admin
- Only set when a race organizer signs in to the admin area. It is never set for visitors browsing the site.
